Profile

I have always had a penchant for drawing but life took me more into the field of letters. While raising my family, I worked (and still do) as an English translator.

In 2015 I took my first steps in the Art Workshop of the Swiss House of Rosario under the direction of Prof. Jorge Signorelli.  He accompanied me from the first day encouraging me to draw, to challenge me permanently, without putting any limit to my desire to embrace art from where I felt comfortable. I started drawing with pencil and then I took up colour with pastel chalk.

During 2020 and part of 2021 I tackled watercolours. The beginning was more of a game and a way to occupy extreme confinement time. From Instagram platforms and Youtube videos, I approached different artists and ways of working it around the world and discovered the thousand ways I can express myself with it. In these circumstances, I also attended virtual classes with Soledad González del Cerro and Claudia Ferrari, which further encouraged my desire to continue learning.

Once I overcame the general isolation of COVID 19, I started taking classes with Adriana Alonso where my approach to watercolour acquired more technique while remaining creative and free.

I approached art as a hobby, without suspecting that it would awaken in me this emotion and the need to reflect my way of seeing the world around me.
