PAINTED BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Buenos Aires, Almagro, I live in Barracas, and I develop in my workshop several plastic activities.
- In 1970, with the collaboration of some friends, I started to make wood carvings, bronze engravings and copper embossing. These activities unconsciously contributed to form a map of the plastic arts.
- The pending subject... painting.
- Later my university career, and the insertion in the labor market numbed the gymnastics that I had acquired.
- On a trip to Sweden in 2001, visiting the MNA located in Skärhamn in Tjörn (between Göteborg and Oslo), I acquired my first watercolors.
- My self-taught training in various activities, finally stimulated me to express myself in painting, specifically through the technique of watercolor.
- For years he only shows his works in his most intimate circle, and gives away about 50 works.
- During 2003, I attended classes with the painter Gloria Audo in her workshop in San Telmo.
PAINT LIFE THE WAY YOU WANT
My painting is healing, emotionally positive, I strive to define myself through painting, to get to know myself and to express my emotions.
I use pictorial language as a bridge to communicate what I cannot transmit with my words. There are no rules in my work, the watercolour technique, then the alchemy of materials, colours, the indeterminate style, and even the decision not to thread certain works; they are a kind of rebellion against all kinds of agreed formats.
Art is my intimate and faithful refuge; it is what you do not see, it is what you make others see.
